Abbotsford International Airport (YXX)

If you’re arriving by air, you’ll be flying into Abbotsford International Airport (YXX), located just 15 minutes from Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W. Bus, Transit & Shuttles at YXX

Ebus will be offering four daily trips from Vancouver to Kelowna and Kamloops, with daily stops at the Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) to help connect residents and visitors to more communities in the province! Book your seat here.

Rider Express Transportation offers daily service between Vancouver and Kamloops and weekly service between Vancouver to Calgary (Kelowna coming soon), with pickups and drop-offs at YXX. For more information and ticket pricing, visit their website or call 1-833-583-3636.

Abbotsford Airport Shuttle is a fast and convenient way to get from Abbotsford International Airport to King George Station Surrey and King George Station Surrey to Abbotsford International Airport.

Driving to Abbotsford

From Vancouver – Car travel takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes from Vancouver. From where you are staying in the city, head east on the Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W. Abbotsford can also be accessed via BC-99, or BC-17.

From Seattle – Abbotsford is located less than 2.5 hours north of Seattle. From downtown Seattle, merge onto Interstate 5 northbound toward Vancouver. At Bellingham, take exit 256A-256B for the Aldergrove-Bellingham Highway/ BC-13. This road will take you to the USA/ Canada border crossing and into the Fraser Valley. Don’t forget your passport!

Train

For those wanting to experience a classic train ride, the West Coast Express runs Monday to Friday from Downtown Vancouver to Mission with stops along the way. Hopping on the #31 bus in Mission will take you directly to Abbotsford!
