Ice Cream at Birchwood Dairy

This hidden gem is a longtime Abbotsford favorite. Birchwood Dairy raises and milks approximately 120 cows at their family owned and operated farm in East Abbotsford. From start to finish all their dairy products are created on site, from the hay grown for the cows to eat to the 50 flavors of delicious ice cream as well as cheeses, yogurts and more. Valley Wake Park at Albert Dyck Park

Try something new this summer at Valley Wake Park! The Fraser Valley’s first cable wakeboarding park lets you get out on the water without a boat, making it a great for beginner wakeboarders or those looking to practice more advanced tricks. Located at Albert Dyck Park, the Valley Wake Park cable park is clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly. No gear? No problem! They have everything you need available for a small rental fee. Spray Park at Mill Lake Park

A favorite for children and families, the Spray Park is centrally located at Mill Lake Park and right beside Centennial Pool. This free summer activity is open daily from 9am to 8pm until the September long weekend. Beside the spray park is a picnic shelter that is a great way to get some rest from the sun and enjoy a packed lunch. In addition to the spray park, Mill Lake Park also boasts a playground, plenty of lawn space and a picturesque walking or biking trail.

Take a dip at Centennial Pool

Abbotsford’s only outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool off during scorching summer days! This classic 25 meter pool offers swimming lessons for all ages as well as public swimming every day from 12pm to 4pm. Have a large group or birthday coming up? Rent the pool out for a pool party.
