NewLeaf Travel is Canada’s newest low-cost air travel company. Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) will soon offer regular routes (running weekly or biweekly) to Regina, Winnipeg and Saskatoon which is exciting news for many residents and travellers in BC and surrounding regions.
" We want to spread the love to Canada’s smaller airports because of their laid back atmosphere, cheaper parking and awesome baggage handling. " - NewLeaf
To keep costs down, they will sell tickets directly to the customers through www.flynewleaf.ca and a small number of exclusive partners. NewLeaf is partnered with Flair Airlines, a Kelowna based charter airline who has been flying since 2003. Currently, they will be using the Boeing 737-400 which seats 150 persons. The airline is well known for their service and knowledgeable maintenance crew.
The company has plans to potentially expand routes to specific American destinations although they have no plans to expand this service to Vancouver International Airport. We are very hopefully to see more people travelling to and from Abbotsford, BC.
