Driving Here

Since Abbotsford is easily accessible from the East and West by Highway 1, driving here is a breeze. Tolls have been eliminated on the Port Mann and Golden Ears bridges, which makes the trip even more affordable. Surprising to some, driving to Abbotsford from downtown Vancouver only takes around an hour! Don’t have a car? Not a problem!

Car sharing services located throughout the Lower Mainland offer daily and overnight rental rates that allow you to drive out the Fraser Valley and beyond. If you’re new to car sharing, simply set up an account online, see where an available car is near to you, and start your trip! EvoZipcar, and Modo all offer full day rates for around $100. Grab some friends for a fun road trip!

Coming from the South? Abbotsford has its own US border crossing at Sumas. Waits are generally minimal and a Nexus lane is also available from 8am-8pm each day. More information on border crossings and wait times can be found at www.cbsa.gc.ca.
