Abbotsford has one of the only dedicated waterski venues in Canada, therefore it has a long history of hosting quality events. Albert Dyck Park is a unique facility with a man-made lake that hosts many local, provincial and national championships every year. The local association is continuously working diligently to foster the development of new and existing athletes and is committed to providing opportunities through the hosting of tournaments and championships. Waterskiing and wakeboarding has a completive and non-competitive side. Although BC is known to produce National and International level competitors.

ATHLETIC PROFILE Dave Miller
Dave Miller is an Abbotsford waterskiier who has been skiing competitively for about 22 years. Miller has won Provincial, Western and Canadian championships. He held the Canadian record on the men’s side for three years in a five-year period.
