 Many of the images found on the Tourism Abbotsford web site and many of the various Tourism Abbotsford publications and marketing materials are provided by our official photographer - Karen Massier.
Karen Massier resides in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. A self-taught photographer, her first image was shot when she was 12. Since then she has never stopped shooting images, and her photography has been refined into what it is today. Karen is an avid lover of the outdoors and is always up for an adventure. Karen has spent many months trekking in Asia and has traveled extensively throughout North America including Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico.
Karen is also a trained Horticulturalist and has a real zest for shooting new plants in exciting ways. Karen specializes in outdoor, travel and floral photography. When she is not tending her garden you can find Karen out chasing the light with camera in hand. Her images have been used for advertising, magazine covers, calendars and postcards, as well as earning numerous awards.
