The Fraser Valley Stage is a not for profit community theatre group which has been operating since 1969. Our performances include full musical productions of broadway shows, Gilbert & Sullivan operettas, stage plays, variety nights, vocal concerts and school educational programs.
We hold auditions for lead roles; sometimes for chorus and dancers, depending on the cast size and member interest. We welcome anyone 19 years or older (younger by invitation) and need people interested in theatre, performing, set design and construction, make-up, costume, music, instrumentalists, web-design, publicity, program, graphics, display...in fact, anyone who is interested in the creative arts.

Songs, Strings & Steps represents a spectacular collaborative effort involving Abbotsford's finest young musicians, dancers, and artists in a show that celebrates the highest qualities of music performance, dance, choreography, and spoken word. Under the direction of Calvin Dyck and Sylvia Friesen, the show resonates with youthful enthusiasm, quality programming, and young talent.
More than mere concert, this festival of the arts features highlights from classical repertoire to folk songs and selections from Broadway musicals.
Riding on the success of four sold out shows this year, the directors are already laying plans for Songs, Strings and Steps Six!
