Abbotsford is excited for the 2010 Winter Games...

Abbotsford is a short 45 minute drive to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic venues, allowing athletes the chance to visit the venues prior to the games while providing an international facility in a friendly and supportive environment. With a population of over 160,000 residents; Abbotsford, the hub of the Fraser Valley, provides all the amenities of an urban city surrounded by British Columbia’s incredible countryside.

Olympic Torch Relay Celebration Event Day Sunday Feb. 7...

The Olympic Torch is coming to Abbotsford! Mark February 7, 2010 on your calendar. The Olympic torch relay will be traveling through our streets all day and ending up at Abbotsford Exhibition Park for a celebration – Olympic style!

Olympic Live Site @ ARC Feb. 12 - 28...

The Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC) was chosen as our Olympic LiveSite. The LiveSite program is meant to help residents share in the spirit of the 2010 games. The ARC will be transformed into an Olympic/Paraolympic theatre and gallery.
