Tourism Abbotsford is proud to deliver the Wolrdhost Training Services in the hopes that we as a city can develop a network of front-line staff, managers and facilities that are Woldhost certified. Lets become a city that is recognized for it's high quality of client and guest customer relations and service!
The eight hour course is $25.00 per person and includes books, pin and certificate. The classroom is located at Tradex unless otherwise informed by the instructor.
There are currently no training dates scheduled for 2010.

Information about the WorldHost® Training Services
 SuperHost® Programs was first introduced in 1985 to prepare BC’s tourism workforce to host the world at EXPO 86. Since then, over 850,000 participant’s world-wide have completed SuperHost® workshopsand helped establish BC’s world-class reputation for service.
As BC prepares to host the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, TourismBC is preparing the province’s customer service professionals to be ready to "Welcome the World!" Building upon the success of the program and fulfilling its mandate todeliver superior customer service training, SuperHost®Programs has enhanced its products, polished its image and officially re-branding to WorldHost® Training Services as of April 27, 2009.
Along with a new image and training collateral, a greater focus is put towards providing customized training solutions for tourism industry partners, while continuing to offer world renowned off-the-shelf training - the hallmark of the programs' success. In addition, the recent launch of the "Ambassador Workshop", a training session for volunteers, is representative of new WorldHost Training Services products that will be promoted in the upcoming launch year.
On the 2010 front, WorldHost Training Services has partnered with VANOC to deliver “Team 2010”, a program created by VANOC to train individuals on the significance of the Games.
By delivering “Team 2010” training to key stakeholders, TBC will ensure that there is a consistent Olympic message that will generate enthusiasm and passion for the Games. Additional 2010 initiatives are underway with 2010 Legacies Now, the RCMP and the Provincial Visitor Centres Network. Post Olympic Games, WorldHost Training Services will capitalize on key learning’s from 2010 and promote our expertise to future host destinations.
