This indoor/outdoor facility offers a number of instructional and self-guided experiences for budding biologists and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Featuring a dynamic array of exhibits and aquariums, you’ll discover the natural habitats of some of B.C.’s freshwater residents. Introduce yourself to Bob & Doug, a couple of great white sturgeons! Foster healthy outdoor activities as you share your love for angling with family, friends, & visitors at this fascinating learning centre.
ARE YOU A TEACHER? Book one of our curriculum based tours for your field trip. Tours include education surrounding: life cycles, anatomy and physiology, habitat, personal responsibility and the environment, pollution and recycling. We use a real live stream as a teaching tool! Students collect and analyze water quality data and identify insects.
Learn to Fish was a HUGE success this summer. We had over 2500 participants through the program since April 1, 2006. We are taking bookings throughout the fall but make sure you book as soon as possible due to limited Learn to Fish staff.
Birthday parties are always a favorite at the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery so book one TODAY!
